I purchased a 1986 Chevy Telstar in July of 2019 with intentions of living in it full-time. And I did, for a little over a year—parked in my mother’s driveway. It’s 23ft long, made of fiberglass, and has a bitchin’ custom paint job that may or may not have sold me on it.

I’ve coined (R)Vanlife, which is probably annoying to both communities, but I’m okay with that. While technically an RV, my rig isn’t much bigger than your 170” Sprinter. Throughout the process of searching for my future home, I really connected to the #vanlife culture, and don’t feel firmly in one camp or the other (ba dum tiss).
